Travel Assist*
Driving with some help behind the wheel, from steering support to speeding up or slowing down, Travel Assist helps keep you safer on the road.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)*
When the road gets busy, Adaptive Cruise Control keeps things cruising. When dealing with traffic on the highway, it uses sensors to detect vehicles ahead of you, helping adjust your speed, and manages the distance between you and what’s in front of you, adapting to the situation you’re in.
Active Blind Spot Monitor*
When you’re focused on the journey ahead, Active Blind Spot Monitor can help by alerting you when another vehicle may be hiding in your blind spots and helping counter-steer when necessary.
Rear Traffic Alert*
You can’t always see what might be crossing behind you when reversing out of a parking spot or backing out of a driveway. Rear Traffic Alert monitors what’s behind the vehicle, alerting you when cars and motorcycles that could cause a collision are detected and helping hit the brakes before it’s too late.
Front Assist*
Even when we’re driving at our best, we still need to keep an eye out to avoid collisions with other cars, pedestrians, or cyclists in front of us. Thankfully, Front Assist monitors the road ahead to identify risks of potential collision. It will first provide an alert and then automatically apply the brakes, if necessary.
Emergency Assist*
When Travel or Lane Assist is active and something serious happens where you lose the ability to drive, Emergency Assist helps safely bring the vehicle to a stop and will contact assistance for you.
Lane Assist*
Lane Assist is a camera-based system that helps keep the vehicle from going over the traffic lines. It activates when driving above 35 MPH on roads with visible markings and can warn the driver and counter-steer if necessary to help ensure you stay in your lane.
Driver Assistance
A helping hand, where you need it
Light Assist
When driving at 18 MPH or faster and your surroundings get dark, the Light Assist driver assistance feature turns on to help make sure the road ahead is lit, and when your speed slows to 12 MPH, it turns off. You can set the high beams into “auto” mode, so they’ll automatically activate when there’s low light, and turn off when there’s an oncoming vehicle, or you enter an area that’s well lit by the environment or by traffic conditions.*

Sometimes the best way to see what’s happening around you is through cameras that can give you a wider view of those hard to see angles that surround us. Area View does just that by providing an expanded view of your car’s surroundings.*
Park Distance Control with
Maneuver Braking
The available Park Distance Control helps take the guess work out of parking your car, while Maneuver Braking helps apply the brake automatically to help mitigate the chance of a collision with stationary objects while reversing into a spot. With Park Distance Control’s audio beeps and visual support, you’ll know if you’re getting too close to detected obstacles in front of or behind your car. It’ll also share additional information on your display, so you can see what’s behind your car as you reverse within a parking spot.*
Dynamic Road Sign Display
From traffic signs to speed limits, when you need a reminder about the signs on the road, the available Dynamic Road Sign Display helps share the information you want. It also features warnings for speed, restricted traffic zones and more, so you can remain focused on the road ahead.*

Wondering when you need to service your vehicle? Save that mental energy for other items on your to-do list. We can give you a heads up when it’s time to service your vehicle—making it easy for you to schedule a service appointment with your preferred dealer. Once your dealer service appointment is complete, you can access your service history right from the myVW app.
Roadside Assistance Requests*
Whether you run out of gas, have a flat tire, or are faced with a dead battery, you can use myVW to request roadside assistance.* A battery jump, tire change or tow can be just a few taps away.
Remote Commands*
You can access your car when you’re next to it or miles away. Remote Start your car (if equipped)*, lock and unlock the doors*, honk the horn, flash the lights, and more - right from the myVW app. Plus, with the Car-Net® skill enabled on your Amazon® devices, command Alexa®*, to "Start my car"*, (if equipped), "Unlock my car"*, or "Honk my horn."*, With remote features, you're always in the driver's seat.
Last Parked Location*
Forgot exactly where you parked? When you activate Car-Net®*, you can use the myVW app to find your vehicle –navigating you back to your vehicle with turn-by-turn directions.

Help keep your vehicle in tip-top shape when you activate Car-Net®* - just tap on Vehicle Health Report in myVW to access diagnostic information. The results will tell you when your next service is due and whether your vehicle might be due for a check-up at your local Volkswagen dealer.

In Snow Mode, the engine can upshift earlier, which helps keep it in a lower RPM range and helps prevent too much power from going to the wheels too quickly.*
Off-Road Mode can help maintain traction on challenging road surfaces. On steep grades, it can activate Hill Descent Control to help keep a safe speed as you descend.*

In the event of a collision that deploys the airbags*, the ICRS can turn off the fuel pump, unlock the doors, and activate the hazard lights.28 It helps react if you might not be able to.

Not every collision brings a car to stop. That’s why our vehicles include the Automatic Post-Collision Braking System. It can also help slow the vehicle down after a collision, helping reduce the chance of any additional impacts.*
Tire Pressure Monitoring
System (TPMS)

Monitoring and maintaining proper air pressure in your tires helps with efficiency and safety. The TPMS helps alert you to a loss of tire pressure so you know when to add air.
